SVF/DMI Student Chapter Team makes an exciting impact at the DMI College of Engineering, Chennai
We are delighted to share the following feedback from Ms. Steffy Teena, Coordinating Professor, on the positive impact of the Subi Vidya Foundation’s initiatives at the college:
“Since SVF began working with our college, we have witnessed a noticeable increase in awareness and participation among both students and staff in social and environmental initiatives.
Students enthusiastically took part in a Water Conservation Poster Competition, which served as an effective platform for promoting awareness about the importance of saving water. We also organized a pledge-taking activity, where students and faculty members committed themselves to responsible water use and conservation.
These initiatives have fostered a stronger sense of social responsibility and encouraged active participation in sustainability-related activities across the campus community.”
Members of the SVF Student Chapter took a pledge to save water and the environment. They demonstrated “Awareness to Action” throughout the college with wide-ranging activities (See pictures).
This encouraging feedback reinforces SVF’s mission of empowering youth to become responsible stewards of the environment.
This growing enthusiasm among students and faculty is a promising sign that innovative initiatives can lead to meaningful and lasting behavioral change, creating a more sustainable future for all.
Congratulations to the SVF/DMI CoE Student Chapter Team!
